We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Technician to join our team in North Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will perform testing, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and integration of electrical and mechanical components used in highly regulated industrial applications. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, interpreting technical documentation, and ensuring products meet strict quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical and mechanical testing of components and assemblies using calibrated test equipment.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, technical manuals, and test procedures.
  • Set up test equipment, execute testing, and accurately document results.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and rework electrical and mechanical assemblies as needed.
  • Assemble and integrate electrical panels and components according to engineering drawings.
  • Review test data to ensure products meet quality and acceptance criteria.
  • Create and document non-conformance reports when required.
  • Support engineers and quality personnel by communicating technical findings and resolving issues.
  • Maintain an organized laboratory and warehouse environment, including inventory and product traceability.
  • Perform inspections and testing at customer and vendor sites as needed.
  • Assist with equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, packaging, shipping, and training of new technicians.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree or Technical Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience testing electrical and mechanical components or assemblies.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Experience using electrical test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, or similar instruments.
  • Experience with panel wiring, soldering, sheet metal fabrication, or mechanical assembly is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while following detailed procedures and quality standards.
  • Comfortable working in a laboratory, warehouse, and occasional field environment.
