Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee, optimize, and drive daily production at our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will lead our mill, components and finish teams, managing everything from raw lumber intake to final product dispatch. Your primary objective is to maintain exceptional product quality (precision sizing, profile consistency, and flawless finishes) while scaling operational throughput, championing shop-floor safety, and executing JIT/ Lean manufacturing principles.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 5+ years of operations or plant management experience inside a woodworking, cabinetry, furniture, or millwork manufacturing environment.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Deep understanding of wood species characteristics, moisture content behavior, sanding grits, tooling and automated finishing/coating processes.
• Systems Proficiency:
  Experience utilizing manufacturing ERP systems for production tracking, inventory valuation, and scheduling.
• Methodologies:
  Proven track record of applying JIT, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen principles in a physical plant.
• Leadership:
  Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong ability to delegate tasks, handle conflicts, and communicate effectively across the entire organization. Administration, or a related field.
• Formal Lean Six Sigma green or black belt certification.
• Bilingual capability (English/Spanish) is highly desirable for floor communication
