CNC Machinist

Job Description Responsibilities

• Setup, troubleshoot, and manage basic operation of CNC mill/turn equipment
• Study blueprints, manuals, SOP, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations and setup requirements
• Set up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed
• control data
• Fit and assemble parts into complete assembly or other work if needed
• Verify dimensions and alignment of assembly if required
• Maintaining smooth product flow which includes safety, quality, productivity, job assignments, and delivery
• Precisely log work performed during setup/run times including quantities into our MRP system
• (Visual)
• Good communicator who can confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems
• Perform other duties as required by management

• Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as using precision measurement tools
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
• Attention to detail and results-driven approach to work
• Good communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma of relevant discipline is a plus
• 6 months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
