- Responsible for set-up and troubleshooting equipment and processes.
- Ensure product is manufactured and completed as per technical specifications.
- Ensure machine set up’s are completed as per standard and meets specifications.
- Ensure equipment and set-up parameters are established, followed and improved.
- Ensure materials required for changeover are available and secured prior to set-ups.
- Ensure product is packed and identified as per specifications.
- Ensure accurate inventory and effective control of materials and supplies.
- Ensure downtime is minimized by ensuring proper equipment set-ups, material is present prior to changeover and report lack of raw materials, tooling and/or equipment issues to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
- Coaching and mentoring assistants by providing clear and precise instructions.
- Ensure all safety rules and company policies/procedures are followed.
- Perform quality control checks
- Ability to read tape measure
- Must be detailed oriented and have a sense of urgency
- Use PPE as required
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Related tasks as requested by supervisor
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
- No travel required
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ability to repeatedly lift to a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Must have basic computer skills, AS400, Microsoft Office.
- Must have basic math skills.
