Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Create CNC programs for 5-axis VMC and Multi-Tasking Turn/Mill machines utilizing Top Solid CAD/CAM software.
- Create digital setup sheets and tool lists inside Pro Shop ERP software
- Design custom fixturing and work holding for parts during machining and
- Design custom fixture for holding parts during CMM inspection, 3D printed
- Collaborate in planning meeting with other programmers and quality personnel on new part
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of machining and programming experience, preferably with some Aerospace or Medical industry experience.
- Interest in learning Top Solid CAD/CAM Software. Will train internally.
- Ability to Interpret customer supplied prints for materials, tolerances/GD&T, finishing notes, and hardware assembly
- Ability to review, validate and clean solid models prior to CNC programming
- Competency with MS Office 365
- Must be collaborative minded and have a calm, professional attitude
- Must be willing to take directives from department heads
