Schedule: Full-Time, 1st Shift (4:30am - 3:00pm)

What

You’ll Be Doing:
  • Perform detailed structural assembly operations, including drilling, riveting, and fitting parts to ensure top-notch quality and adherence to FAA requirements and Company standards.
  • Use a variety of tools like portable riveting guns, pneumatic drills, and reamers to assemble sheet metal and structural parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders to ensure precise operations and proper part assembly.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of your work, ensuring defect‑free assemblies before final inspection.
  • Keep detailed logs and records, and enter labor into the system to track work progress.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of structural assembly experience or 1 year of experience in an Aircraft Structures Technical Certificate Program (e.g., Savannah Tech Aircraft Structures Program)
  • Basic knowledge of aircraft structures, sheet metal, and fabrication processes
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and use a 6" scale
  • Basic computer skills for logging work and using resource planning systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in small spaces, including climbing ladders or stands
  • Must be able to work any shift and adhere to safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Solumina and Smarteam systems
  • Knowledge of composite resins and materials
  • Prior experience with Lean activities and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment to complete structural assembly tasks

Pay Details: $21.21 per hour
