Matrix MKTG is hiring a Social Engagement Analyst to join our fast-paced experiential marketing agency. This junior-level role is laser-focused on capturing and reporting social media engagement tied to live events and brand activations.
This is not a content creation or social strategy role. Instead, it’s ideal for someone who lives for precision, thrives in spreadsheets, and enjoys the process of organizing digital data into clean, actionable reports.
HYBRID:
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday In-Office (Mandatory) + Thursday, Friday Remote
Annual Salary Range: $50,000-$53,000
Full-Time:
Junior-Level
- Perform
manual social sweeps within 24 hours after events across platforms like Instagram and Tik Tok - Document every like, share, save, comment, mention, story reply, and UGC post
- Maintain clean, detailed tracking logs with source links/screenshots
- Flag inconsistencies and missing data; elevate findings to internal teams
- Generate, QA, and deliver post-event reports to stakeholders
- Help improve tracking templates and internal workflows
- Support posting on Matrix-owned channels (with direction from social lead)
- Organize and tag content assets for easy retrieval
- Assist with basic scheduling, captioning, and trend watching as needed
- Align with
Client Services to meet client reporting needs - Work with
Strategy to interpret and apply engagement insights - Be available for non-traditional hours around key events

- 1–3 years in social media, digital marketing, or analytics (agency experience preferred)
- Proven experience with
manual social media tracking - Advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel/Google Sheets)
- Bonus:
Experience supporting live events or brand activations - Passion for culture, music, and lifestyle marketing is a plus
- You consistently deliver clean, on-time engagement reports post-event
- You help quantify social buzz into metrics that matter for clients
- You’re trusted to own the reporting process and ensure nothing slips through the cracks
