Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Director of Global Marketing Automation to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of lifecycle marketing operations across global markets. This leader will drive customer acquisition, retention, and cross-sell initiatives through high‑performing marketing automation programs that directly impact revenue and measurable growth. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with deep, hands‑on technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Own and evolve the global marketing automation and lifecycle marketing strategy to maximize customer engagement and revenue performance
- Lead end‑to‑end campaign execution across acquisition, retention, and expansion initiatives
- Serve as the primary architect and technical authority for Adobe Marketo Engage, ensuring scalable, high‑performing automation frameworks
- Guide and mentor developers and marketing operations professionals, providing hands‑on technical direction and best practices
- Design and optimize complex nurture programs, lead scoring models, segmentation strategies, and attribution frameworks
- Establish performance measurement standards, leveraging advanced reporting to drive conversion optimization and revenue impact
- Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, and Data teams to align automation strategy with business goals
- Continuously improve processes, governance, and system architecture to support global scalability
- 7+ years of advanced, hands‑on experience with Adobe Marketo Engage in enterprise environments
- Proven track record of driving measurable improvements in customer engagement, marketing conversions, and revenue through automation programs
- Deep expertise in performance marketing, multi‑touch attribution, and lifecycle campaign strategy
- Experience leading and technically guiding developers and marketing automation teams
- Strong understanding of CRM integrations and marketing technology ecosystems
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on execution
- Increased pipeline contribution and revenue attribution from marketing automation programs
- Improved lifecycle engagement metrics across acquisition, retention, and cross‑sell
- Scalable, technically sound automation architecture supporting global growth
