The Marketing Coordinator is a key operational contributor responsible for executing digital marketing efforts across email, website, and organic social media channels. This role combines meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage fast‑moving workflows in a live entertainment environment.

You will ensure that event information is accurate, on‑brand, and delivered on time, supporting successful event launches, driving audience engagement, and enhancing the overall guest experience. This position is ideal for a detail‑driven marketer who excels at execution, coordination, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities Email Marketing Execution
  • Build, schedule, and deploy marketing emails using approved templates.
  • Maintain and manage email calendars, ensuring no scheduling conflicts.
  • Verify the accuracy of event details, links, pricing language, and on‑sale mechanics.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Managers and cross‑functional teams (Ticketing, Programming, Sales) to flag risks, inconsistencies, or missing information before deployment.
Organic Social Media Publishing
  • Execute event announcements and daily organic content across social platforms.
  • Schedule and publish posts using approved copy and assets.
  • Maintain and support the Fox Theatre's content calendars.
  • Monitor community conversations and respond to comments and direct messages; elevate when needed.
Website Content Management
  • Create, edit, and update event‑related content on the Fox Theatre website.
  • Ensure information is accurate, timely, and aligned with a strong user experience.
  • Apply basic SEO best practices to event pages.
  • Assist with departmental and organization‑wide content updates as needed.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
  • Gather event details and updates by working closely with Ticketing, Programming, Guest Experience, Sales, and Tours.
  • Collaborate with external partners and third‑party agencies to maintain current information.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for timeline questions, execution requirements, and status updates.
Reporting & Optimization
  • Monitor email, website, and social media metrics to track performance.
  • Provide topline insights and snapshot reports as requested by the Senior Marketing Manager or Director of Sales & Marketing.
Other Duties as Assigned

This role may support additional projects and tasks that align with departmental goals and business needs.

Qualifications Required Skills & Abilities
  • Demonstrated experience building and deploying marketing emails (end‑to‑end).
  • Working knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In, X).
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and website content management.
  • Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially when balancing multiple deadlines.
  • Strong written communication skills and responsiveness in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed for events.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
Preferred Skills & Abilities
  • Experience with audience segmentation, template optimization, and basic analytics.
  • General knowledge of digital content creation best practices across platforms.
  • Strong copywriting ability.
  • Basic graphic design skills.
Required Education & Experience
  • 1‑3 years of experience in digital marketing, ideally in entertainment, arts, hospitality, or live events.
Preferred Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
