The RoleAt Syrup, the Social Media Manager owns the day‑to‑day reality of how our clients show up on social. You’re not just posting content, you’re shaping perception, building momentum, and turning strategy into scroll‑stopping execution.
This role is hands‑on and high‑ownership. You’ll plan, create, schedule, engage, analyze, and iterate, collaborating closely with design and our Head of Brand to bring brand strategy, voice, and visuals to life across platforms. You’ll be trusted to run point on social while knowing when to pull others in to make the work sharper, stronger, and more effective.

Experience Qualifications- 1–3 years of hands‑on experience managing social media accounts (agency or freelance experience is strongly preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone, voice, and messaging across different brands
- Hands‑on experience creating and managing content across platforms like Linked In, Instagram, and Facebook
- Comfort with social scheduling, analytics, and reporting tools (native platform tools and/or tools like Hey Orca, etc.)
- Design and video skills (Canva, Figma, Adobe tools, Cap Cut, or similar)
- Ability to turn analytics into insights, not just reports, but clear recommendations
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and content calendars at once
- Curiosity and trend awareness, you pay attention to what’s happening on social and why it works
- Coachable mindset with the ability to take feedback, apply it quickly, and improve
- Confidence in owning your work while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teammates
- You genuinely love social media, not just consuming it, but thinking critically about how brands show up and grow
- You’re equal parts creative and analytical: ideas excite you, and data helps you refine them
- You like owning your work and being accountable for outcomes, not just tasks
- You’re naturally curious, ask questions, and often turn those questions into content ideas
