Wesley Mingledorff Talent Partners is partnering with a globally recognized creative brand to identify an accomplished communications executive who has helped shape influential brands, elevate executive leaders, and create cultural relevance through world-class media strategy.
We are seeking a hands-on communications leader who can develop the strategy, identify the story, make the pitch, and secure meaningful organic earned media coverage. The ideal candidate brings an established network of relationships with leading journalists, editors, producers, and creators across business, luxury, lifestyle, fashion, design, entertainment, culture, and national news media.
What You’ll Lead- Develop and execute an integrated global communications strategy
- Serve as the primary strategist and pitch person for high-impact media opportunities
- Secure organic earned media coverage across major national and international outlets
- Elevate executive visibility through thought leadership, storytelling, speaking opportunities, and media engagement
- Build and leverage relationships with influential journalists, editors, producers, creators, and influencers
- Advise executive leadership on public positioning, reputation, and crisis communications
- Partner with marketing and executive leadership to elevate brand awareness
- Lead and mentor a high-performing communications team
- 10 or more years of leadership experience in public relations, strategic communications, executive communications, corporate affairs, or brand communications
- Proven success personally developing and pitching stories that resulted in high-impact organic earned media coverage
- A strong, active network of relationships at major national and international publications and media outlets
- Experience elevating the visibility of a CEO, founder, public figure, or globally recognized brand
- Experience leading reputation management and crisis communications
- Exceptional strategic thinking, executive presence, judgment, and communication skills
- Willingness to relocate to Savannah and work in person
