Position Summary
The Product Marketing Manager will own the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for the Big Green Egg product portfolio - translating product features and consumer insights into compelling stories that drive demand across every channel. Working closely with product, sales, eCommerce, and creative teams, this role leads new product introductions from concept through launch and beyond, equip retail and dealer partners with the tools to sell effectively, and coordinates with agency partners and freelancers to bring product campaigns to life.
This person will work to deepen consumer engagement, grow market share, and deliver measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
Essential functions of the role include:
Product Positioning & Messaging:
- Develop and own differentiated positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks for the Big Green Egg product portfolio, from Eggs andaccessoriesto new category entries.
- Translate product features and technical specifications into consumer-facing benefits that reinforce Big Green Egg’s premium positioning.
- Maintain messaging consistency across every touchpoint - packaging, retail, digital, social, and partner channels - in partnership with the brand and creative teams.
- Implement timelines and processes in partnership with the program director.
Go-to-Market & Product Launches:
- Own the integrated go-to-market plan for all new product introductions - launch objectives, target audience, pricing and promotional inputs, channel sequencing, and success criteria.
- Rally cross-functional support across product development, sales, eCommerce, supply chain, and creative to ensure a cohesive launch aligned with brand and revenue objectives.
- Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of product campaigns with the creative team, external agencies, and partners to drive awareness, trial, and sell-through.
- Run post-launch reviews;tracking performance against launch goals andapplyinglearnings to the next introduction.
Portfolio & Lifecycle Management:
- Partner with product development to shape the roadmap, bringing consumer, competitive, and channel insight into product decisions.
- Manage messaging and marketing support across the product lifecycle, including sustaining products, seasonal programs, and end-of-life transitions.
- Provide input on pricing, assortment, and promotional strategy to support portfolio growth and margin goals.
Ecommerce & Retail Channel Marketing:
- Support eCommerce initiatives by partnering with the omnichannel team and Growth Marketing Manager tooptimizeproduct detail pages, online sales, and customer journeys.
- Own product merchandising and content strategy for external retailer sites (Ace), ensuring product presentation, messaging, and storytelling reflect Big Green Egg’s positioning.
