Marketing Communications Coordinator
Selig Enterprises, a prominent and well-established commercial real estate company headquartered in Midtown Atlanta, is seeking a Marketing Communications Coordinator. This hands-on role works closely with department leadership, Marketing Managers and Graphic Designers to execute corporate social media, written communications, intranet content, trade shows, events and other marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and a highly organized, resourceful and detail-oriented doer. This person can manage recurring responsibilities and individual projects from planning through completion, coordinate details accurately and step in wherever needed to help the marketing team deliver its work.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a wide range of marketing and communications initiatives across one of Atlanta's largest and longest-standing commercial real estate owners, investors and developers. The role provides tremendous variety and the opportunity to make a visible, measurable impact each week. This is a full-time, onsite position based in our Midtown Atlanta office.
Responsibilities
Social Media
- Own the day-to-day execution of Selig's corporate social media program, including weekly planning, scheduling and publishing across Instagram, Facebook and Linked In.
- Draft clear, engaging social media copy that reflects the company's voice and brand standards.
- Gather information, images and approvals from internal stakeholders and coordinate with Graphic Designers on creative assets and refinements.
- Proactively recommend content ideas, program improvements and engagement opportunities.
Intranet and Written Communications
- Write, edit and publish company intranet posts and other internal communications.
- Coordinate with departments to gather source material, confirm accuracy, obtain approvals and keep content timely.
- Translate information into concise, accessible content appropriate for the intended audience and channel.
- Proofread communications and marketing materials for grammar, accuracy, tone and brand consistency.
Trade Show and Event Coordination
- Travel to and support one to two trade shows annually, including occasional work outside typical business hours.
- Serve as Selig's internal point of contact with the third-party trade show management team.
- Coordinate items outside the third party's scope, including catering, internal graphics, floral and other booth or event needs.
- Assist with attendee registration, travel coordination, schedules and supporting materials.
- Track trade show budgets, expenses and documentation.
- Coordinate small-scale events as needed, including tenant appreciation activities.
Marketing Team Support and Coordination
- Support Marketing Managers and Graphic Designers with request intake, task coordination and information gathering.
- Complete monthly expense tracking, documentation and reconciliation accurately and on schedule.
- Contribute ideas, creative naming and concise, engaging copy when appropriate.
- Conduct research, source vendors and gather information to support department initiatives.
- Assist with basic template updates, presentations and light document adjustments.
- Coordinate meetings involving multiple stakeholders and prepare supporting materials as needed.
- Maintain organized files, shared resources and department tools that support efficient marketing operations.
- Provide hands-on support for events, activities and time-sensitive department needs.
Required Qualifications
- Three or more years of marketing or public relations experience, or four or more years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.
- Demonstrated professional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Experience creating and coordinating content for corporate or organizational social media channels.
- Strong administrative, organizational and time-management skills, with consistent attention to detail.
