Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Art with Children at Edgewood Program (2nd & 4th Wednesdays)

Overview

Our vision is to provide the tools necessary so each child has the ability to fully express themselves. Art is a vehicle to reach out to students. Engaging them with art enriches their study of all other curriculum subjects. Our strategy is aimed at sparking the energy of world peace by igniting the passion of learning in the world’s children. In using the research-based principles of integrating the arts in the general curriculum, we hope to increase self-esteem and thinking skills in children to help them become better world citizens.

Wherever there is a need, drawchange wants to be there providing art supplies.

You don’t need to be an artist to volunteer for this opportunity!

We are a nonprofit organization that helps impoverished children realize their dreams through the use of art. They can be anything they want to be!

The Edgewood Program Volunteer provides vital support to children in a domestic violence intervention program, helping them feel safe, valued, and supported. Volunteers will actively contribute to creating a positive, nurturing, and welcoming environment where children can thrive.

Dedicate a few hours to help children express themselves through the use of art! For this program, we are in the Edgewood area on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month from 7:25 pm to 9:05 pm. We do art therapy-based programming with the children to have fun and create with us while forgetting their daily stresses. We focus on empowerment—using only nice words and collaboration.

It’s so much fun and full of positivity! We bring all the supplies, you come to hang out and help them with the activity!
