For the Breast of Us (FTBOU) is a national breast cancer organization created by and for Women of Color impacted by breast cancer. Centered around the pillars of Advocacy, Community, and Education
, FTBOU exists to disrupt the narrative and reimagine survivorship for Black and Brown women.

For the Breast of Us is the first inclusive community created by and for women of color impacted by breast cancer. Through our pillars of Advocacy, Community, and Education, we amplify voices, provide culturally relevant resources, and create sisterhood in survivorship.

We are seeking a volunteer bookkeeper to help us stay on top of our finances as we grow. Your work will ensure transparency, accuracy, and smooth financial operations so we can keep our focus on uplifting women of color impacted by breast cancer.

• Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Wave, or Excel)
• Track income, donations, and expenses
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Prepare simple monthly financial reports for leadership
• Support budgeting and event tracking (e.g., Breast Cancer Baddie Con)

• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting (nonprofit experience a plus)
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Able to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
• Familiarity with Quick Books, Wave, or similar tools
