Data Volunteer (3–6 Month Project)

Freedom Challenge USA (a ministry of Operation Mobilization) is seeking a Data Volunteer to support a short-term project focused on organizing and summarizing event data from previous years. This is a fully remote, unpaid volunteer position. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with spreadsheets, organizing information, and helping teams make informed decisions through clear data summaries.

• Gather and organize event data from past Freedom Challenge events
• Clean, sort, and standardize information across spreadsheets
• Create simple summaries, charts, or basic dashboards to highlight trends
• Develop clear documentation so staff can update or use the data in the future
• Collaborate with Freedom Challenge staff throughout the project

• Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Organized and able to work independently
• Willing to ask questions and clarify project needs
• Interest in nonprofit work or data analytics (helpful but not required)

• Project-based role lasting approximately 3–6 months
• Flexible schedule determined with project supervisor
