One World Link (OWL) Ameri Corps members (ACM) will serve with rural non‑profits, using capacity building activities that will expand, support, and create effective initiatives to further the missions of these organizations to enable them to provide better and sustained direct services in Middle/South Georgia. ACMs are needed to tackle some of the toughest problems in South Georgia including education, economic opportunities, healthy futures, homelessness, and financial literacy.
All ACMs receive a modest, monthly living allowance. Half‑time and Minimum‑time ACMs are eligible for receiving the Segal Education Award upon successful completion of the service program. ACMs are expected to complete all required trainings and attend local program activities and events.
Serve at least 5–35 hours a week during the service term, depending on slot assignment.
