About the Role

The Missions Sr. Coordinator ensures the seamless execution of Christ Covenant’s church-shaped missions vision. This position reports to the Pastor of Missions and provides overall operational support to each of the department’s focus areas:
Reach the World, Bless the City, and Training & Development.

What You’ll Do Reach the World
  • Plan and coordinate all trip travel logistics, process member applications, and support trip leaders.
  • Manage all trip income and expenses.
  • Plan the conference schedule and content with the Global Missions Director and Pastor of Missions.
  • Organize and manage all partner/speaker travel, accommodations, and schedules.
  • Communicate with internal Christ Covenant teams to execute conference vision, content, and logistics.
  • Act as on‑site coordinator during the conference.
  • Support Partner Care Teams by reserving meeting space, processing new members, and staying up to date on prayer needs; work with the Global Missions Director to train team leaders.
  • Assist the Global Missions Director in mobilizing members through scheduling and organizing the Missions Intensive, creating and maintaining Personal Development Plans, and facilitating meetings.
  • Participate in the sending process by scheduling and organizing Lunch & Learns, identifying commissioning dates, and supporting launch needs.
Bless the City
  • Organize and execute event logistics and administration for Bless the City.
  • Assist the Director of Local Missions in communication with and equipping Campus Team Leaders.
  • Organize a regular cadence of check‑ins with leaders.
  • Execute the Director of Local Missions’s vision for volunteer mobilization.
General
  • Submit and initiate monthly giving for Reach the World and Bless the City partners.
  • Act as primary point of contact for general missions communications.
Qualifications
  • College degree preferred.
  • Personal, one‑on‑one discipleship experience highly preferred; experience serving in a local church or ministry setting also preferred.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Flexible with flux and change in missions tasks.
  • Proven experience in missions, partner care, or large‑scale event planning.
  • Strategic thinker who can execute vision with excellence.
  • Skilled in communication, problem‑solving, and project management.
  • Highly relational.
  • Passion for local and global missions, with theological alignment to an ecclesiocentric missions philosophy.

Full‑time.

Location:

Atlanta, GA. Duration: 2+ months. Local candidates only, as they will be required to be onsite.
