Position
Purpose:
The Foundation Field Sr. Specialist, in partnership with the Foundation Field Manager, will be responsible for working with The Home Depot Foundation team to develop and implement a successful and meaningful Team Depot/associate volunteer program. The position is responsible for grant process and review, project management and execution of service projects, training and recruitment communication materials, reporting and evaluation, and development of plans and proposals.
The Foundation Field Sr. Specialist will also manage some nonprofit partner relationships and will support Foundation fundraising events as well as national campaigns such as Celebration of Service, Spring and MLK, Jr. campaigns. This position will participate in the ongoing development of policies, programs and practices based on a continued assessment of community needs; alignment with company business imperatives; measurement of community impact, business value and impact on corporate reputation
50% Grant Approval
- Supports the Team Depot program by reviewing and awarding grants to nonprofit organizations that are partnering with stores, providing insight and recommendations on program operations, policies and national volunteer campaign development in addition to supporting individual strategies in a given territory30% Plans and implements Projects
- Design, implement and manage a corporate volunteerism program to ensure associates can Give Back and make measurable impact on communities. Advance The Home Depot's volunteerism portfolio by incorporating industry
best practices and leading the design of a volunteerism program in a remote and in-person environment20% Supports program operations and strategies - Supports program operations and strategies to include budgets, impact goals, partnerships, storytelling, Executive project review and development of resources

This Position has 0 direct reports.
Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.
Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
