This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner located in Atlanta, GA. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care, including conducting physical exams, diagnosing, treating illnesses, and managing chronic conditions. Responsibilities include educating patients, evaluating medical histories, interpreting diagnostic tests, and recommending appropriate treatment plans. The role requires adherence to clinical guidelines, maintaining accurate medical records, and fostering patient-centered care in a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications- Thorough knowledge of clinical practices, patient assessment, and diagnosis
- Proficiency in creating treatment plans, conducting physical exams, and managing follow-ups
- Strong communication and patient education skills to foster trust and understanding
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical/team-based environment
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master's in Nursing (MSN) required
- Certification and licensure specific to the state of Georgia
- BLS/ACLS certification is preferred
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development
