Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Med/Surg Surgery Trauma night position requiring a GA or compact RN license and EPIC experience.

• Work on a high-acuity Surgery Trauma unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes spinal neuro trauma, surgical cases, gunshot wounds, quadriplegic and paraplegic patients
• 12-hour night shifts, three shifts per week
• Block scheduling is not available; must be flexible with shift assignments
• No on-call requirements
• Uses EPIC EMR; experience with EPIC is required
• No requested time off is permitted during the contract
• Responsibilities include caring for high-acuity trauma and surgical patients
• Must be willing to work all assigned shifts and adapt to department needs
• Professional attire adheres to hospital guidelines
• References from supervisors or managers with similar experience within the past 2 years are required
• First-time travelers will be considered

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the Med/Surg Surgery Trauma specialty
• EPIC experience required
