PRN Neuro-Hospitalist - Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner - Piedmont Henry Hospital

Piedmont is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Neurohospitalist team at Piedmont Henry Hospital. This is a PRN position working variable shifts as needed.

• Follow up with current general neurology and stroke patients.
• Triage new patients prior to being seen by doctor.
• Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations and record data in patients medical record.
• Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care.
• Write progress notes; prepare patient work-ups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings.
• Develop plans of care that minimize complications and successfully troubleshoot problems when they arise. Apply preventative and alternative treatment strategies for possible procedural complications.

• 1-2 years of advanced practice provider experience with a high degree of clinical judgment.

• Masters, Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification.
