Job Description

The Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (M/S RN) will provide care for patients with conditions such as spinal neurological trauma, gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia. This role requires a compassionate approach, addressing the complex needs of a medically diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and processes for post-discharge care.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
• Current and unrestricted nursing license verified through Nursys.
• Certification card specific to specialty required.
• Work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.
• Skills checklist and references must be provided.
