Travel RN - GI​/Endoscopy

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI Lab position specializing in endoscopic procedures, requiring a GA or compact RN license and ACLS/BLS certification.

Job Details

• Hospital-based GI Lab supporting gastroenterology and pulmonology service lines,

• Procedures include colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, EUS, and bronchoscopies,

• Covers cases supporting colorectal and bariatric surgery,

• Day shift with 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7am to 5:30pm,

• Thirteen-week contract assignment,

• No on-call required,

• Local candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required,

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required,

• Minimum of 2 years of recent GI Lab or endoscopy RN experience,

• Must provide license verification and unexpired AHA certifications,

• Driver's license required,

• Permanent address must match driver's license and RN license information,

Additional Information

• Deliver direct nursing care for a variety of endoscopic procedures including advanced GI and pulmonary interventions,

• Position does not require holiday coverage,

• Returning perm staff must wait at least two years before returning as travelers,

• RTO must be requested up front and is not permitted after offer,

• Must comply with facility radius rule for traveler eligibility,
