Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular​/CVOR

Position: Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular OR/CVOR
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience and an active GA or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) unit,

• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM,

• Weekend rotation to be discussed during interview,

• On-call required: typically one weekday per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks,

• Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required at time of consideration,

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required,

• Current certifications required (copies must be provided for consideration),

• Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurse references not accepted) are highly preferred,

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,

• Local candidates are accepted for this position,

• RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment,

• Holiday coverage is required: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two of them - major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day,

• No special scheduling requests, alternate shifts, or schedule changes are permitted,

• Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler,

• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed on time; delays may result in a start date pushback due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule,
