Description:
The position involves caring for patients in a progressive care unit and intermediate care unit with a cardiac population.
The unit has a capacity of 28 beds.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3-4.
Conditions managed include STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and other cardiac-related issues.
Experience with cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors is required.
The nurse may also be assigned to telemetry beds with lower acuity levels within the same unit.
