Position Overview:

As a Hospitalist, you'll work under a physician’s supervision in the inpatient and outpatient setting to manage acute and chronic oncology conditions, providing comprehensive care from admission to discharge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage care for patients with hematologic and oncologic malignancies.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and order therapies.
• Assist in routine diagnostic, therapeutic, and patient care procedures.
• Educate patients on procedures, medications, and self-care.
• Provide symptom management for treatment-related side effects.
• Communicate goals of care and involve physicians in decision-making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.

Schedule:

• We offer a Monday - Friday schedule with 3 12-hour shifts.
• Orientation will be Monday - Friday, so you must be available for that.
