Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular​/CVOR

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) travel position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel CVOR experience in a large-scale trauma facility.

• Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact state license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior travel CVOR nursing experience in a large Level 1 trauma facility is required
• Strong cardiovascular and endovascular OR experience required
• Proven ability to manage critical, fast-paced situations in high-volume, high-acuity environments
• Experience must reflect background in hospitals with diverse and severe case volumes — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
• Skills checklist must reflect the CVOR specialty with high ratings across all areas

• Work setting is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center with a high volume of complex and severe cardiovascular cases
• Position is in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) with strong cardiovascular and endovascular case exposure
• Schedule is 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM)
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Call and holiday coverage are required
• No on-call ratio outside of standard call requirements
• Provide scrub and/or circulating nursing care for cardiovascular and endovascular surgical cases
• This facility accepts local travelers under the same conditions as travel candidates
• Copies of active certifications and license must be provided for consideration
