Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shift, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and experience in patient care management. The RN will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care in a compassionate and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit
- Monitor and assess patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families regarding medical conditions, treatment options, and health management
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control policies, including isolation protocols
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing
- Current RN license and Nursys license verification required
- Completion of a skills checklist and provision of references
- Certification in relevant nursing specialties preferred
