Nurse Practitioner - NP

Position Summary

Full‑time Nurse Practitioner (30–40 hrs/wk) supporting the Minute Clinic in Dacula, GA. You will provide comprehensive, evidence‑based primary and family care in a retail health‑clinic setting. Must be willing to work every other weekend.

• Provide primary and family evidence‑based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling and disposition planning.
• Perform administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow‑up, insurance verification, payment collection and maintaining a clean environment.
• Handle patient appointments, perform routing examinations and ensure positive patient health outcomes.
• Speak with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, complete diagnostic tests, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
• Encourage patients to become active participants in their own health through screenings, behavioral health and wellness, and chronic condition management.

• Minimum one year as a Nurse Practitioner; experience in Family medicine or primary care preferred.
• Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED use.
• Pass FIT test and wear respirator mask when protocol requires.
• Minimum two years medically relevant experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages, including Spanish where required.
• Willingness and ability to work every other weekend.
• Order and administer immunizations and injections (COVID‑19, influenza, TB, Depo, etc.) and provide evidence‑based vaccination counseling.

• Less than one year of work experience as a licensed provider: prior student precepting rotation with Minute Clinic preferred.

• Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.

$41.85 – $90.13 per hour (actual rate varies with experience, education, geography and other factors).
