Travel Surgical Unit RN - Atlanta, Georgia

Step into a dynamic nursing environment utilizing your advanced skills in an Operating Room setting in a top-tier, fast-paced healthcare facility. This contract opportunity allows you to work closely with multidisciplinary teams while caring for patients in a Level 1 Trauma Center. Your expertise and adaptability will be vital as you support critical and life-changing surgical procedures.

Schedule:

• 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. shifts
• Includes call, weekends, and holidays
• Block scheduling is not available

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse license
• Solid background in an Operating Room setting
• Prior experience as a travel nurse
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• High proficiency and positive feedback on a recent skills checklist
• Burn unit experience preferred
• Excellent clinical judgment and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver exemplary pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff for seamless procedures
• Document patient status and surgical information thoroughly
• Manage emergencies effectively and quickly
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards
• Participate in regular skill-building and continuing education opportunities
