Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized operating room nursing care in a busy surgical environment. The RN will support a diverse range of procedures with a focus on patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assist with surgical procedures across multiple specialties including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gynecology.
- Prepare operating rooms, ensure sterility, and verify surgical equipment functionality.
- Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels during surgery, responding promptly to any changes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient status.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent OR experience in a fast-paced setting.
- Possess current AHA BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- Demonstrate proficiency in complex surgical cases, including robotics, neuro, and orthopedic procedures.
- Exhibit strong patient advocacy, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling, including night shifts and extended hours.
