Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular​/CVOR

Position: Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular OR/CVOR
American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, requiring a minimum of 18 months of CVOR experience and strong endovascular skills.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital operating room setting specializing in cardiovascular surgery (CVOR),

• Cardiac and vascular surgical procedures with strong endovascular focus,

• AM shift, 10-hour shifts on weekdays (5am-11am or 11pm-7am) and 12-hour shifts on weekends and holidays (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am),

• Averaging approximately 70+ hours per four-week period, which may vary,

• Weekend requirement includes one Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift per period (shifts do not need to be consecutive),

• Holiday rotation is required, including weekends surrounding holidays,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand,

• Minimum 18 months of full-time CVOR RN experience within a setting of similar acuity, within the last 3 years,

• Strong proficiency across cardiac and vascular procedures (self-ratings of 3s and 4s required),

• Strong endovascular experience required,

• Travel nursing experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted,

• Former permanent staff of this health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning; former staff returning to this specific facility must wait at least 18 months,

• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if it does not fall on or near a holiday, and a maximum of 3 days if it falls on or near a holiday,

• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract; consecutive RTO days clustered around holidays are generally not approved,
