Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) unit to provide specialized perioperative care for cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac and vascular surgeries, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgery patients.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare patients and ensure adherence to procedural protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs, anesthesia levels, and surgical site conditions throughout procedures.
- Manage patient recovery post-surgery, including vital assessments and complication prevention.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, procedures, and clinical findings.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols at all times.
- Hold an active GA or Compact RN license.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of CVOR nursing experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in cardiovascular surgical procedures and related care.
- Be able to work a 3x12 hour day shift schedule.
- Comply with travel and licensing requirements, including Tier1 Travel Compliance.
- Show ability to work independently within scope of practice, with excellent clinical judgment.
