Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a major Atlanta hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and broad surgical case expertise including robotics.

Job Details

• Work in the main inpatient surgical unit (Ground Floor Surgery) of a large hospital campus,

• High-volume OR environment handling between 28-55 cases per day,

• Service lines include Orthopedic, Neuro, Urology, General, and Thoracic surgery,

• Three da Vinci Xi robotic systems in use for General, Urology, and Thoracic service lines,

• Travelers are expected to have expertise across all case types, including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and GYN,

• Unit is staffed 24/7,

• 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (schedule may vary),

• 3 shifts per week,

• 13-week contract,

• No on-call requirements,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Georgia or a compact state currently in hand,

• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required,

• AHA BLS certification required,

• AHA ACLS certification preferred,

• Broad surgical case expertise required, including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, GYN, and thoracic,

• Driver's License required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,

• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have at least a 2-year break from the facility before being considered,

• RTO (time off) requests must be submitted upfront - requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted,

• AHA certifications must be current and non-expired
