Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Atlanta, GA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and expertise across multiple surgical service lines including robotics, neuro, and ortho.

Job Details

• Inpatient surgical unit at a major hospital campus, staffed 24/7,

• Ground floor surgery unit serving as the main inpatient OR, handling 28-55 cases per day,

• Heavy service line mix including Ortho, Neuro, Urology, General, and Thoracic surgery,

• Three da Vinci Xi robots on-site supporting General, Urology, and Thoracic service lines,

• 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (schedule may vary),

• 3 shifts per week, 13-week contract,

• No on-call requirements,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license - Georgia or Compact state license required,

• Current AHA BLS certification required,

• AHA ACLS certification preferred,

• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required,

• Broad surgical case expertise required, including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and GYN,

• Driver's license required for consideration,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a minimum 2-year break from the facility before being considered,

• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront - requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted,

• References are not required for initial consideration but will be needed during the compliance/credentialing process
