The Nurse Supervisor provides clinical, operational, and administrative leadership within the department and has direct supervisory responsibility for assigned nursing and support staff. This role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and staff engagement. The Supervisor functions as a frontline leader who oversees daily operations, supports patient throughput and flow, drives performance accountability, and fosters a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The Nursing Supervisor partners with leadership to achieve departmental goals related to quality, safety, financial stewardship, and workforce development. This position reports to the Clinical Staff Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical, operational, and administrative leadership within the department; supervise assigned nursing and support staff.
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and staff engagement.
  • Oversee daily operations, support patient throughput and flow, drive performance accountability, and foster a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with leadership to achieve departmental goals related to quality, safety, financial stewardship, and workforce development.
  • Report to the Clinical Staff Manager.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Active & Clear Georgia nursing license or Multistate nursing license
  • Strong clinical assessment and triage skills
  • Experience managing high-acuity, fast-paced environments (preferred)
  • Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and service excellence
  • 3 years of work-related experience
  • American Heart Association (ACLS, BLS) certifications
  • American Heart Association (PALS) certification (preferred)
