Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care for surgical patients including those undergoing general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head and neck surgery
- Care for patients with complex airway needs including tracheostomies and laryngectomies on a specialized ENT unit
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout the night shift in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Demonstrated experience as a surgical RN with strong clinical skills
- Prior experience caring for ENT, head and neck, or bariatric surgery patients
- Familiarity with tracheostomy and laryngectomy patient care and management
- Opportunity to work in a specialized surgical unit providing high-acuity, complex patient care
- Contract placement with a reputable healthcare facility in a major metropolitan area
