In this role, the nursing staff will care for Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients in the Psychiatric and Chemical Dependency units and attend hospital safety trainings. Required to work 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. shift (PRN).
EssentialJob Duties
- Effectively direct the activities of the inpatient units and evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of patient care during assigned shift or other established time frame and keep the Chief Nursing Officer and other supervisors abreast of significant events or problems.
- Plan, organize, and assign staff appropriately according to skill level and patient needs based on sound professional judgment and rationale. Coordinate flow of patients with Assessment Department for continuity in bed control.
- Utilize nursing skills of assessment, diagnosis, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating as appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

Qualifications- Education Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current State of Georgia Registered Nurse License
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in related field required with current validation in area‑specific skills, charge nurse or previous management experience preferred.
