This is a 13‑week contract position. Shift schedule varies, operating from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

The Acute Med Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical nursing care to patients in a medical‑surgical setting. This role requires expertise in managing acute medical conditions, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care to patients in the acute medical unit.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in medical‑surgical nursing.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (NIHSS).
