Registered Nurse- Shift

Registered Nurse (RN) Full‑time Opportunity

12 Hour Day Shift (7am - 7pm)

Established in 1986, the Anchor Hospital is a 122‑bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission that specializes in the treatment of behavioral health and addictive disease disorders for Adolescents, Adults and Senior Adults. Located in College Park, Anchor Hospital serves Mental Health and Substance Abuse patients from all over the Southeast through our Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization, Outpatient, and Tricare program for active duty and veterans.

Patients who come to Anchor Hospital are in crisis, and the road to recovery for behavioral, mental health, and substance abuse patients is a difficult one. The staff at Anchor Hospital serves as compassionate guides who provide for our patients’ clinical needs.

• Process patient admissions
• Develop treatment plans
• Conduct patient assessments
• Administer medications
• Educate patients on medication usage
• Collaborate with Clinical Services and other departments to achieve treatment goals
• Promote a therapeutic milieu and provide quality patient care
• Ensure nursing resources are adequate for optimal patient care to diverse patient populations, including dual diagnosis, chemical dependency, and psychiatric care

This position’s hours include shift differentials (7am-7pm weekend shifts only).

• Current license to practice nursing in GA (or eligible to receive or renew)
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Preferred one year of experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting
