Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Atlanta, Georgia, 30301. This is a 13 week contract position with a dedicated PCU team where your clinical expertise and compassionate care help patients transition from critical care to recovery.

• Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized treatment.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, oxygen therapy, and other specialized equipment.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient status and emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care guidelines.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting.

• Active RN License in Georgia.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU, Step-Down, Telemetry, or Acute Care nursing experience.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS Certification required.
• NIHSS Certification preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and managing complex patient conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs effectively.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and nursing documentation systems.
