Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a General/Surgical Bariatric & OT unit, requiring an active GA or Compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of experience.

• Position is located on a General/Surgical Bariatric and OT unit,

• 12-hour AM shifts,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand,

• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required,

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,

• Former permanent staff of Emory or Houston facilities must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required,

• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if the time off does not fall on or near a holiday, and a maximum of 3 days if it does,

• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract,

• RTO requests during the holiday period must be spread out and will not be approved if consecutive days are clustered around the same holiday
