Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room
Location: Atlanta, GA Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,638 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 7/13/2026
Travel Nurse Source is working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified Cardiovascular Operating Room RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30319. The position . This role includes a 3‑day, 12‑hour day shift schedule (06:30 – 19:00) with rotation details to be discussed during interview.
Responsibilities- Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room as a registered nurse.
- Perform day shifts of 3 days per week, each 12 hours long (06:30‑19:00).
- Call:
Yes/variable – typically one day per week with call and one weekend every 5‑6 weeks. - Float within the facility or scope of practice as needed.
- Minimum 2 years experience on a CVOR unit; first‑time travelers accepted.
- 2+ years of experience on a cardiovascular operating room unit; first‑time travelers accepted.
- Certified ACLS and BLS.
- Experience with the Epic charting system; community hospital experience preferred.
- Specialty skills in abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, aortic aneurysm repair, arteriovenous fistula repair, carotid angioplasty, carotid artery stenting, carotid endarterectomy, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), CVOR, femoral‑popliteal bypass graft, heart, intra‑aortic balloon pump (IABP), lobe resection, maze procedure, mitral valve replacement, thoracotomy, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), VATS (video‑assisted thoracic surgery), ventricular assist device (LVAD/RVAD), and scrub roles in cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgery.
- Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred.
- Travel experience preferred; the unit accepts travel pairs.
- Pass the CVOR exam.
- Complete the CVOR RN skills checklist.
- Obtain all required documentation within 48 hours of contract signing.
