Description:
The unit operates on a weekend rotation, which will be discussed during the interview. Call is required and may vary, typically consisting of one weekday call each week and one weekend call every 5-6 weeks. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be required as needed. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are accepted for this unit.
Clinical screens will be conducted to assess the candidate's fit for the role. Candidates who pass the clinical review and meet guidelines will be submitted for final approval. If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the candidate is expected to work. If two holidays occur during the assignment, the candidate must work both. In the case of three holidays, the candidate is expected to work two of them.
Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Full compliance is required to start on time; any delays in compliance may push back the start date. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. To support the needs of the unit, management reserves the right to make necessary adjustments. Agency Request Time Off (RTO) guidelines apply.
Maximum RTO is 7 days per contract and must be finalized at the time of submission. Compliance regarding onboarding and modules is mandatory and must be completed within specified timelines. Travelers must not request RTO or scheduling changes after an offer has been made. The unit does not accept travel pairs, and block schedules are not honored. Self-scheduling is not permitted.
All RTO requests must comply with established policies and will be evaluated accordingly.
