Registered Nurse - Emergency Department; Nursing

Immediate Need
:
Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED), 8‑week contract, Atlanta, GA (Onsite).

Pay
: $50/hr – $55/hr.

Schedule
:
Night shifts, 36 hours per week.

Duration
: 2 months (06/15/2026 – 08/08/2026).

• Perform rapid triage and comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with emergent conditions across the lifespan (adults and pediatrics).
• Administer medications, initiate IVs, manage wounds, and assist with procedures as needed.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and neurological status; respond promptly to changes.
• Coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff for seamless patient flow.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR (EPIC).
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions, medications, and follow‑up care.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and ED best practices.
• Participate in trauma activations and emergency response as part of the care team.

• Active RN license in GA or Compact State.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC and/or ENPC certifications preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience caring for adult and pediatric patients in an emergency setting.
• Experience in a large facility, Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts; 36 hours guaranteed per week.
• Excellent rapid assessment and triage decision‑making skills.
• Proficiency in emergency procedures, IV therapy, and resuscitation protocols.
• Strong communication and teamwork under pressure.
• Compassionate, patient‑first mindset even in crisis situations.
• Ability to handle high acuity, high volume, and fast patient turnover.
• Adaptability to adult and pediatric populations.
