TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN OR – Operating Room for a travel nursing position in Atlanta, Georgia.

This 13‑week travel assignment requires an OR RN who can work ten‑hour days, 40 hours per week, in the Atlanta, GA operating room. The . You will assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients, providing pre‑ and post‑surgery care and education, and maintaining a safe, sterile operating environment.

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑surgery care and education to patients and families.
• Act as a communication liaison between patients’ families and the operating team.
• Ensure the correct procedure is performed on the correct patient.
• Serve as a basic bedside care provider during surgery.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report any adverse reactions.

• Respond to comfort and safety needs of the patient.
• Accurately care for and handle specimens.
• Monitor equipment used during surgery.
• Inventory surgical items pre‑ and post‑procedure.

• Select and handle surgical instruments and supplies during procedures.
• Inventory surgical items pre‑ and post‑procedure.

• Assist physicians by delivering direct surgical care.
• Help control bleeding.
