Job Overview

Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR for an assignment in Atlanta, Georgia.

Duration: 16 weeks; 10‑hour day shifts (4 days per week); 40 hours per week;
Travel nursing assignment.

Provide nursing care in the operating room for a variety of surgeries, including abdominal, general, orthopedic, neurology, gynecologic, transplant, and related procedures. Assist with pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑operative patient care and support the surgical team.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current Georgia or Compact license.
• Minimum 4 years of operating room experience; 3 years overall OR experience required. First‑time travelers are not accepted.
• Experience with Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics service lines.
• Proficiency with the Epic charting system.
• Travel nursing experience required.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient‑care skills.

• Abdominal, vaginal hysterectomy, ALIF, anterior/posterior repair, appendectomy, arthroscopy, bilateral tubal ligation, cholecystectomy, closed reduction of fractures, colon resection, craniotomy, dilation & curettage, general OR, hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical), intestinal, kidney, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures, laparoscopy, liver, lumbar fusion, open reduction of fractures, organ donation, pancreas, thyroidectomy (partial/total), total joint replacement, Whipple, XLIF, general neuro, ortho, transplant (solid organ).

Pay is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
