Registered Nurse; Nursing - Atlanta, GA

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or a state that recognizes reciprocity through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• BLS required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and have the strength to push & pull and stand for long periods.

• Under supervision, the RN performs all duties of comprehensive nursing services as qualified to provide, including but not limited to assessment & triage, and assistance as per guests’ needs.

• Assessment and basic nursing care skills.

• Current Resume.
• GA License.
• BLS (American Red Cross or American Heart Association ONLY).
• Health attestation (attached).
• Agency attestation (attached).
• Supporting documents required within 72 hours.
• Rapid deployment of qualified caregivers within 24 to 48 hours to support emergency response efforts during critical situations.

• The department shall determine the shifts to be worked and shall not guarantee any minimum number of shifts or hours.
• Shift assignments may include 8-12 hour shifts, based on department need.
• Shifts are based solely on the staffing needs at the shelter and not the supplier staff preferences.
