Travel Nurse Source  is working with Prime Staffing to find a qualified CVOR RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30319.

Unit schedule:
Friday‑Sunday or Saturday‑Monday. Call:
Variable, typically one weekday call every week and one weekend call every 5‑6 weeks. Floating:
Within facility/scope of practice as needed.

• Provide cardiovascular operating room nursing support on scheduled cases.
• Assist with procedures including:
  Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Heart*, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Lobe resection, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, Thoracotomy, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), and associated scrub tasks.
• Assist with scrub cardiovascular surgery, scrub thoracic surgery, scrub vascular surgery.*
• Work any major holiday that falls within the assignment; if two holidays fall, expected to work both; if three holidays, expected to work two.
• Attend the required orientation hours (typically 8‑10 hours depending on contract length) and complete all compliance documents within 48 hours of contract signing.
• Maintain full compliance with all intake, safety and administrative requirements.

• Minimum 2 years RN experience, unit accepts first‑time travelers.
• Valid GA or Compact license.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS.
• Ability to complete clinical screen and pass within Piedmont guidelines.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred; other charting systems acceptable.
• Experience with the unit's patient ratios and staffing expectations.
• Willingness to work flexible call and holiday schedule as outlined.
